Each stopper is made by hand in my workshop in Wiltshire from solid hardwood, sanded smooth and fitted with a natural cork shank. They’re a small, useful piece that looks good on the kitchen counter or the dinner table. Because they’re solid wood, every one has its own grain and colour, so no two are exactly alike.

Strips of American black walnut, maple and cherry are joined together, so you get three shades in one small piece: dark chocolate brown, pale cream and warm reddish-brown.
Black Limba Stopper (3cm x 3cm x 3cm)
Black limba has a soft golden-brown colour with darker streaks running through the grain. It’s a quieter look, and every piece has its own pattern.
American Black Walnut Stopper (3cm x 3cm x 3cm)
A solid block of American black walnut, rich and dark with a natural grain that stands out.
Finish and fit
Finished by hand with tung oil and beeswax, which brings out the grain and leaves a soft, natural feel
